Professor David Paterson honoured on the 2015 Thomson Reuters Highly Cited List

10 Jul 2015

Congratulations are due to UQCCR’s Professor David Paterson, who is listed in Thomson Reuters’ list of Highly Cited Researchers, 2015.

The list represents some of world’s most influential scientific minds.

“I am very honoured to have been listed in the recent 2015 Thomson Reuters Highly Cited Researchers list,” said Professor Paterson.

“I hasten to point out that this result is very much a collaborative team effort between all our scholars and research associates, and we are all very proud to work under the banner of The University of Queensland.”

Worldwide, about three thousand researchers earned this distinction by writing the greatest number of reports officially designated by Essential Science Indicators as Highly Cited Papers — ranking among the top 1% most cited for their subject field and year of publication, earning them the mark of exceptional impact.

Professor Paterson is joined by six University of Queensland researchers, out of a total one hundred Australian researchers cited on this prestigious list.
