UQCCR Seminar Series - Costing your project using the UQ template Costing and Pricing Tool with Roheen Gill and Sabine Sand
In this seminar, Roheen Gill, Research Development Officer, and Sabine Sand, Research Partnerships Manager, will give an overview of the UQ costing policy for grant research and industry funding, including how to complete the UQ template Costing and Pricing Tool. The seminar will also cover overheads, variations to the standard overheads rate, and what to consider when costing your project.
Presenter: Roheen Gill
Roheen Gill is a Research Development Officer for the Faculty of Medicine, responsible for pre-award and post-award grant submission facilitation for UQCCR applicants. Roheen has worked with Faculty for the past 12 years in HDR engagement and grant management roles and has been with UQCCR for the past five years as an RDO. She has a Master of Business Administration specialising in Human Resources and Marketing and Bachelors of Science in Biotechnology.
Presenter: Sabine Sand
Sabine Sand is a Research Partnerships Manager for the Faculty of Medicine, responsible for establishing UQCCR research contracts and managing post-establishment aspects. Sabine has worked with UQCCR for the past six years, and before that held roles as an in-house lawyer for UQ and Children’s Hospital Queensland. Her role has a particular focus on research projects with hospital partners, and UQ-led international clinical trials. She has a Master of Laws specialising in Intellectual Property from UQ and has completed postgraduate studies in Public Health Law at The University of Sydney on the regulation of clinical trials and other issues in public health laws.
