Yatish Jain leads the Bioinformatics Products team at the Australian e-Health Research Centre, CSIRO, where he and his team are pioneering cloud-native bioinformatics software that empowers both research and industry with sustainable, adaptive solutions. With a deep-seated passion for data stewardship, Yatish is at the forefront of this critical area within CSIRO's Health and Biosecurity division, driving innovations that ensure data integrity and accessibility.

Before making waves in Australia in 2019, Yatish honed his expertise at the CDC in the USA as a senior bioinformatics developer. There, he was instrumental in creating advanced full-stack applications for viral surveillance, showcasing his technical prowess and commitment to public health. In addition to leading his team, Yatish draws on his 5 years of IT industry experience to act as a bioinformatics Business Analyst. This allows him to bridge the gap between technology and research, delivering impactful, research-driven solutions across multiple projects with a focus on innovation and efficiency.
