3 Dec 2014

High achieving students and early career researchers have been recognised at the ‘UQCCR Shimadzu Awards Seminar’ held on Wednesday 26 November.

Director of the UQ Centre for Clinical Research Professor Murray Mitchell said the awards acknowledged the high standard of work of some of UQCCR’s brightest minds.

“The awards also allow the researchers to present their work at conferences in Australia and abroad,” Professor Mitchell said.

“I would like to congratulate these high achievers on their stellar efforts and dedication to their work.”

Kicking off the event was Professor Peter Silburn, Acting Director from the Asia-Pacific Centre for Neuromodulation at UQCCR, who presented a seminar titled ‘Surfing the Human Brain’.
