The Monogenic Parkinson’s Disease Australia (MonoPDAus) Initiative: investigating the benefits of a genetic diagnosis for Parkinson's disease with Dr. Kishore Kumar
Kishore leads the Translational Neurogenomics Group at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research. He is a Conjoint Associate Professor, UNSW Sydney, and a Staff Specialist Neurologist at Concord Repatriation General Hospital. He completed his PhD in 2014 in genetics of movement disorders. He was then awarded an NHMRC Early Career Fellowship where he continued his work at the Kinghorn Centre for Clinical Genomics, and now in the Garvan Institute of Medical Research as part of the Genomics of Inherited Disease Program.
